21 Teams from various  East Midlands Croquet Clubs took part in one of the largest single day Golf Croquet  tournaments in England.  Each team ideally consisted of a novice and an experienced player.  Each team played 6 matches of 7 hoops.  The top 4 teams then contested each other in a semi-final and final which was played over the conventional 13 hoops.

The winning team of Michelle Robson and Mick from Southwell receive their trophies from Patricia.

In a very interesting and hotly contested final they beat the local Woodhall team of John and Colleen Norman by 7-3.

In the semi-final the Southwell team beat another Woodhall team of the experienced David Eckford partnering the youngest player in the  tournament Cameron Summerlin.  Cameron is a new junior member of the club this year and this was his first competition.
